Dolphins live in the bay and if you are lucky you may catch them frolicking around the Whitianga wharf in the summer. Further north at Kuaotunu and its northern beaches, you can find various activities ranging from Bike Safaris to Horse Riding or just lazing away on one of the many stunning beaches.
