Amendments to Bookings
Requests to alter existing bookings are subject to availability and the terms set by the relevant supplier. We recommend reviewing the cancellation policies of each Supplier before confirming your booking.
In case of force majeure, such as weather conditions threatening your safety, we may need to modify the itinerary or cancel the Services, suggesting a suitable alternative if available. Any changes in price or refunds will be at the Supplier’s discretion, and we will consult with you on these potential changes.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to your consultant and are subject to the following charges:
– Cancellations after confirmation and before 60 days from travel date: deposits are forfeited.
– Cancellations between 60 and 15 days prior to travel date: 50% of the total booking cost.
– Cancellations less than 14 days before travel date: 100% of the total booking cost.
In addition to the cancellation fees, all cancellation fees levied by suppliers on us for late cancellation will be passed on. We highly recommend all passengers to purchase travel insurance.

While we will do our best on your behalf refunds are always contingent upon the policies of the suppliers. The New Zealand Touring Co does not guarantee refunds and shall process only what is recoverable from the Suppliers. Certain products, notably prepaid hotels and attractions, are often non-refundable.
No refund can be claimed if the Client fails to present the required travel documents to the New Zealand Authorities on arrival to the country.
The New Zealand Touring Co cannot be held responsible for delays caused by air, sea or land transportation that would result in you being unable to use the Services booked. If the trip is changed due to transport related issues, any resulting costs will remain at the expense of the customer although we will always act in the best interest of the customer in finding an alternative and minimising any such costs.

In the event that a tour must be cancelled or put on hold because of force majeure circumstances after your reservation has been secured, we will in consultation with you arrange a refund.
