Booking & payment terms and conditions
Each supplier has a full set of terms and conditions however please note the following related to making bookings and cancellations:
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to your consultant and are subject to the following charges:
- Cancellations after confirmation and before 60 days from travel date: deposits are forfeited.
- Cancellations between 60 and 15 days prior to travel date: 50% of the total booking cost.
- Cancellations less than 14 days before travel date: 100% of the total booking cost.
Health & Fitness:
By booking, you warrant that you and all passengers in your booking are fit to travel and you agree to indemnify Kirra and The New Zealand Touring Co against claims arising from health issues during or after your tour. Kirra may, at its discretion, refuse travel or remove passengers deemed unfit to continue. Kirra’s tours are active and as such a reasonable level of fitness is required.
Luggage
Limit: one suitcase (max 23kg / 44lbs) plus a small carry-on.
Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is compulsory on Kirra Tours and not included in your package. They advise that your policy must cover: accidents, illness, death, pre-existing conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter/air ambulance), and personal liability. They recommend it also covers cancellation/curtailment, loss of personal items, and natural disasters.
