We sell airfares domestically around New Zealand as part of our tours however we don’t sell airfares to and from New Zealand. Our focus and passion is taking care of you from the moment you land in New Zealand to the moment you leave.
Is it best to prebook accommodation and activities?
Absolutely. New Zealand has become increasingly popular especially over summer months when most tourists visit us so it’s best to get your accommodation, activities and cars sorted as early as possible.
When is the best time to visit New Zealand?
The best time to visit depends on your interests and ultimately the king of weather and environment you like:
- Summer (December to February): The most popular time to visit New Zealand – warm weather, busy (kiwis are on holiday to), perfect for outdoor activities, beaches, sports and festivals.
- Autumn (March to May): Becoming cooler the closer to May you get but more settled weather usually especially March/April and still daylights savings so light evenings, fewer tourists, beautiful fall foliage emerging and potentially some better deals. A great time to visit.
- Winter (June to August): Cold, can be wet, few tourists, some of the walks etc are closed during winter months but great for skiing and snowboarding (in the Southern Alps or Ruapehu).
- Spring (September to November): Blooming flowers and mild/warm weather, ideal for outdoor adventures, less crowds, more space.
